L.A. Knockers in Rapture
July 9, 2010
For this photo session from August 1982, in fashionable black outfits for the opening number “Rapture”, we find that 3 favorite dancers have come back into the L. A. Knockers line-up: Kim Blank, Kimberlee Carlson and Marilyn Corwin. Then we have 3 new dancers: Lisa Lecover (Kessler), Suzi Lonergan, Dee Dee Rescher. See a photo of the three of them below. And the blonde bombshell Marilyn Corwin happily back and dancing with Becky Jordan.
OMG! These photos are amazing!
There are so few photos of me with the group, this is a treasure!
How the heck are you guys?
So good to get this little blast from the past.
Thank you for thinking of me!

Hi Elisa,
How fabulous that you have come upon these photos and are sharing them with us. It was a blast of a time, and these photos are priceless. I don’t have many photos so I sincerely appreciate the time you took then, and the time you’re taking now to share them with us.
Many may thanks,
Suzi

We looked up Suzi’s website http://www.suzilonergan.com and found this under her bio.
Suzi Lonergan decided to become a dancer. By age 7 she was performing onstage with the Pasadena Dance Theatre, and by 17 was dancing professionally in TV, movies, music videos and commercials. After touring from LA to Japan with the “LA Knockers”, a cabaret troupe, she began choreographing TV specials and rock concerts abroad. She still dances professionally, appearing in the award winning ballet “Threnody”, and credits the longevity of her career to the power of Pilates workout.
